The Site Weavers is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and serves clients remotely across East Africa. We do not claim offices outside Tanzania. Collaboration happens through calls, shared documents and clear project milestones, with support in East African time.
What remote delivery includes
Discovery calls, written proposals, design reviews, implementation updates and aftercare are handled remotely while production remains based in Tanzania. That covers hosting, domains and business email; website and brand projects; QuickBooks licence supply; ChapFlow onboarding; and custom software when a ready product is not enough.

Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda
Yes, we work with clients in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, and elsewhere in the region, as remote engagements from Dar es Salaam. We have a Nairobi phone number in Site Settings for Kenyan callers when it is published on the contact page. We still do not claim a full office network we do not operate. If a workshop needs to be in person, we say so and plan travel; most projects do not need it.
How a remote project runs
You send a short brief. We reply with clarifying questions or a next step during business hours. Scope is written down. Design or configuration is reviewed in shared links. Launch has a checklist. Support has a named channel: email, phone or WhatsApp as agreed. Time zones inside East Africa are close enough that this is ordinary collaboration, not overnight tickets to another continent.

What we will not claim
We avoid doorway pages for cities we do not operate in, fabricated market statistics and unsupported best-in-region language. Positioning stays factual: Tanzania-based, East Africa-serving, office in Mwenge, Dar es Salaam. That honesty is also better for answer engines that quote the page.

Common mistakes when hiring remotely
Choosing a vendor you cannot call in your afternoon. Accepting a scope that never names who hosts the site. Paying in a currency and process you cannot reconcile with your accountant. We bill in shillings for published hosting and QuickBooks packages, and we agree currency for other work in the proposal.
